DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE
Study Abroad Opportunity @ Marne-la-Vallée in France
The Department of Architecture has entered into a bi-lateral agreement for the exchange of students with the École d'architecture at Marne-la-Vallée, Champs-sur-Marne, (near Paris), France. Under the agreement, a limited number of students will be allowed to enroll as exchange students during the next three years.
"In combination with our study abroad program in the Architectural Association (AA) in London, and our membership in the United States/European Union (US/EU) Joint Consortium," commented Richard Wesley, Head of the Department of Architecture, "the exchange agreement with Marne-la-Vallée will provide our students with opportunities to study architecture in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Holland, and Italy. At the same time, the educational experience in our program will be enriched by the presence of European students in our courses and studios." Under the terms of the agreement, each exchange student will pay full-time tuition to their institution and be responsible for their own travel and living expenses. Students who are selected to participate in the program must be full-time students in good academic standing.
