As part of the University's celebration of the intellectual contributions of W.E.B. Du Bois, Professor of Fine Arts Terry Adkins will unveil The Philadelphia Negro Reconsidered, a suite of 18 Silkcreen Prints." Assistant Professor of City and Regional Planning Amy Hillier will present the board game "The Ward: Race and Class in Philadelphia's Seventh Ward" and scenes from the documentary, "A Legacy of Courage: W.E.B. Du Bois and The Philadelphia Negro."

Professors Adkins and Hillier's installations are part of a day-long conference organized by the Department of Sociology and Africana Studies Center in recognition of the appointment of Du Bois as honorary faculty emeritus of Sociology and Africana Studies.
