MUSA Brown Bag Lunch - Ben Lewis, Project Manager of WorldMap

The Center for Geographic Analysis at Harvard University recently announced Version 1.0 of WorldMap,  an open-source software platform that provides users the ability to discover, organize, visualize, create, share and publish geographic data. Worldmap attempts to fill a growing niche between powerful desktop-bound mapping applications and lightweight web solutions. Ben Lewis, Project Manager of WorldMap, will give a remote presentation on the project and the opportunity for collaboration between academics and GIS users.
