How did you get interested in planning?
I became interested in planning after working on homelessness and affordable housing issues in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
What is your work experience?
My work experience has given me exposure to many facets of the housing and community development field. I have worked for a multi-service agency for the homeless; a public housing authority; the housing and community development department of a large city; a non-profit affordable housing developer; and a redevelopment authority. In addition, I have done consulting work, both independently and with a community and economic development consulting firm.
What is your teaching experience?
While attending Penn I have served as a TA for three courses: Introduction to Urban Design Studio, Quantitative Planning Methods, and Techniques of Urban Economic Development. At MIT, I was a TA for Writing for Public Policy and Planning.
