CURex

Center for Urban Redevelopment Excellence at Penn

The Center was launched in March, 2003 to build capacity for large-scale, comprehensive neighborhood revitalization. The Center offers two-year placements with top urban redevelopment organizations nationwide. The placements are project management jobs with significant mentorship from the organizations' senior staffs. Fellows also participate in a six-week intensive cross-disciplinary training prior to starting their placements, and site visits and additional skills development once per quarter during their fellowship term. It also makes guest speakers and other resources available to other students and professionals in connection with Fellows training.
