Landsdale Borough: Employment Center Proposal

PROJECT SUMMARY
This project is a collaborative effort to develop an employment center on a previously industrial, 200-acre site in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. The project is prepared for Lansdale Borough, which seeks to create a strategy for the development of the site. The Borough's vision was used to guide the planning process and establish a set of goals and objectives that best meets the needs of Lansdale. An employment center attracting a highly-skilled, knowledge-driven labor force would be the most suitable use for the site. The employment center will be complemented by a mix of retail and residential uses to create a vibrant, urban-style environment. The overall goal of the employment center is to act as the catalyst that stimulates economic revitalization in the Borough and establishes Lansdale's position in the regional market. By proposing a higher and better use for the site, increasing employment opportunities, and attracting younger, highlyskilled employees, we can transform an underutilized site into an attractive place to live, work, and play.
