Custom ICC Profiles used at PennDesign
Custom Profiles have been created to help reproduce consistent color from your display to the printer. The profiles listed below are available on all PennDesign computers. If you are printing from your own computer, ICC profiles are available for download from: \\juno\public\Printing_Plotting\ICC Profiles. First be sure to read the install sheet which describes the correct location to place the profiles within your OS.
Each profile is specific to each device and media type. For example, when printing on heavyweight coated media on the 5000-A in Meyerson, the profile that should be used would be MEYS_5000_A_Heavyweight_Coated.icc.
The School of Design makes available 3 general types of media on the plotters: HP Heavyweight Coated, HP Photo Imaging Satin & HP Matte Film. The Xerox color laser printers are stocked with Premium Xerox Paper. The HP color laser printers are stocked with plain laserjet paper.
