Created in 1977, ACD’s mission is to serve practitioners, educators, and organizations engaged in community-based design and planning. ACD is committed to social equity, participatory decision-making, place-based solutions, and design excellence. ACD seeks membership from students, professionals and organizations, and all others who share similar ideals and values.
