This studio will build on the research generated in ARCH 470 and apply recommendations to the Center's demonstration housing in West Philadelphia. The studio will work with architects and community buildersto create architectualplans and construction drawings.
Particular interest will be made on innovative buildingtechnologies(green building technologies, accessibilty, energy efficiency, innovative and contextual design), meeting user needs, understanding and responding to local context, enhancing the neighborhood, building to last, and possiblly creating different buiilding types.
