Request For Course Waiver (pdf)

In some instances, students with a specialized background in a subject will be given permission to waive a required course. A course waiver only waives the requirement NOT the credit. (Full Policy)

 

Request for Late Drop/Add (pdf)

Changes in a student's course registration are permitted only during the established registration add/drop period (check the PennDesign academic calendar for specific drop/add deadlines). Only in special circumstances will a student be allowed to make changes to their registration after the drop/add period has ended. To do so, the student must submit a completed and signed Late Drop/Add Request form. (Full Policy)

 

Leave of Absence Form (pdf)

Upon the recommendation of the Chair of the student's Department, the Dean may grant a leave of absence for a maximum of one year. (Full Policy)

 

Withdrawal Form (pdf)

A student may voluntarily withdraw from the School of Design at any time. Students who withdraw from the School of Design must notify the Office of Records and Registration in writing. (Full Policy)

 

Certificate Application (pdf)

PennDesign students can apply for certificate programs using this form. Complete the form and submit it along with any supporting material to the Admissions Office, 110 Meyerson, by November 1 for spring admission and February 1 for fall admission.
