Graduation Information

We are now accepting graduation applications for the December 2009 degree cycle. All students who plan on completing their program and graduating in December 2009 need to submit a graduation application. Please refer to the Fall 2009 Graduation Calendar for specific deadline dates.

The University of Pennsylvania's 254th Commencement will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, in Franklin Field, located at 33rd and South Streets.

The School of Design Diploma Ceremony will follow the University Commencement on May 17th and will be held on the Furness Plaza, located on 34th and Walnut Streets between Meyerson Hall and the Fisher Fine Arts Library. A luncheon for graduates and their guests will be provided before the ceremony beginning at 12:00 noon in Meyerson Hall. The diploma ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Please be advised that due to the closure of the South Street Bridge, construction of the new bridge, and construction on the North side of Franklin Field, access to and from the stadium will be severely impacted.  It is strongly recommended that you take public transportation, if possible, and allow plenty of extra time to get to the stadium.
