Graduation Fair
Get Your Cap and Gown - Academic regalia is required for degree candidates at Commencement. Candidates who do not possess regalia must obtain their cap and gown through the Penn Bookstore, located at 36th and Walnut Streets, during the spring. Information about how to obtain your regalia will be supplied in the spring.

Final Date for students to defend Master's Theses and Doctoral Dissertations.

April 26^th

Incomplete/missing grades for courses taken prior to the current semester must be resolved.

All financial obligations to the University must be resolved - Students with outstanding financial obligations and/or exit interviews will be allowed to participate in ceremonies, but will not receive their diploma and a hold will be placed on their academic record.

Spring 2009 Final Grades due

School of Design Awards Ceremony, in Meyerson Hall B1 at 4pm
A reception will follow in Meyerson Lower Gallery.

May 17^th

University Commencement
8:30AM - Gates to Franklin Field open for guest seating
8:45AM - Degree candidates to assemble in Hamilton Village, proceed down Locust Walk
9:30AM - Enter Franklin Field
10:15AM - 12PM - Graduation Ceremony

May 17^th

School of Design Ceremony
12pm - School of Design Luncheon for graduates and guests
1:10pm - Students given notice to meet in B1
1:20pm - Graduates assemble in Meyerson Hall B1
1:30pm - Proceed from Meyerson Hall to Furness Plaza
1:40pm - Ceremony begins, and will end at approx. 3:30pm
3:30pm - A reception to follow in Meyerson Hall Lower Gallery
