The Locks Foundation

The Locks Foundation Distinguished Artists Program at the University of Pennsylvania was created to bring leading artists, as well as curators and critics who are involved in a significant way in shaping the art of our time, to the School of Design. The Program is intended to provide perspective, insight, and inspirational encounters between students (as well as the larger Penn and Philadelphia communities) and artists and writers of distinguished achievement. Now in its fourth year, the Program consists of public presentations, conversations and interviews, critiques and studio visits. The Locks Foundation Distinguished Artists Lecture will be documented on the world wide web, as well as anthologized in a printed volume.
