Interdisciplinary Investigation
A mission of PennDesign is to achive complex undestanding gained by looking beyond disciplines. Master of Fine Arts students choose graduate level electives as part of their academic disciplines.
Electives Within the School of Design
Clay
The clay studios in Addams Hall include both gas and electric kilns with the flexibility of low fire and high fire, and alternative firing strategies such as raku and pit firing.
Digital Media, Film/Video
PennDesign includes fully equipped computer laboratories to create digital images along with film/video facilities.
Photography
The Photography Center at Addams Hall is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, including studios, darkrooms (both black & white and color), film processing facilities, and special project facilities.
