In conjunction with the Open House, the PennDesign organization, DiverseDesign is holding our ninth annual “Demystifying Design Professions: Perspectives on Diversity” event on Sunday, November 2nd. The goal of this event is to expose prospective graduate students to a range of design professions in which persons of color and economically disadvantaged groups are underrepresented, to clarify the graduate school process, and to offer networking opportunities with current graduate students. The tentative agenda for Demystifying Design Professions is:
11:00 am Taking Seats and Introduction 11:15 am Faculty Panel + Questions 12:00 pm Lunch Buffet 12-1 pm DD Members and Faculty 1-1:30 pm Alumni Panel 1:30-2 pm DD members present short YIMBY projects 2:00 pm DD members take groups on tours of Meyerson
