Historic Preservation and Environmental Building Design alumnus, current PennDesign Research Associate, and entering Ph.D. in Architecture student, Evan Oskierko-Jeznacki, is a member of the team which recently won the inaugural Comcast-Pennovation Challenge. The competition encouraged teams to develop technologies using Comcast's machineQ network at Penn's Center for Innovation. Oskierko-Jeznacki's team included students in the Integrated Product Design (IPD) degree program at Penn, and their team's development of an infrastructural solution, Viewpoint, uses the machineQ network to collect live information on the structural stability of bridges.
