- Ed Mitchell is an architect and writer practicing in New Haven. He
has taught at the Pratt Institute, Columbia University, the Illinois
Institute of Technology and is currently and Assistant Professor at
Yale
University. His writing has appeared in Any magazine, Assemblage,
"Hejduk's Chronotopes," "Sturm der Ruhe: What is Architecture?" among
other interantional publications. His latest piece on Temporal Urbanism
and the Olympics Games, "All Gone," will be published in Perspecta 34.
In 1999 he was given a Young Architects award from The Architectural
League of New York and his work has been published in "Young
Architects:Scale," and "Open City: Aplphabet City" and has been
exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Rome. Currently
he
is completing construction on a number of residential projects in
Connecticut and New York.
