The Landscape Architecture Foundation and the PennDesign ASLA Student Chapter call on landscape architecture students worldwide to make images for a competition which addresses the general subject of landscape architecture and the future.
The competition is part of the forthcoming LAF Summit on Landscape Architecture and the Future celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Concern drafted by Ian McHarg and others in 1966. The aim of the Summit is to redraft the Declaration of Concern so that it can guide the profession for the next 50 years.
Competition open to graduate and undergraduate students of landscape architecture worldwide
Image will be displayed on a 33’ wide screen. Resolution 1920 x 1080 and a 16:9 ratio
Images are to be sent to this address: pd-asla@design.upenn.edu by 5:00 pm, EST on Monday, May 23, 2016.
Prize:
20 selected images will be displayed on the big screen during the summit and winners will receive complimentary tickets to the 2 day Summit valued at $280
Jury:
Entires will be judged by members of the LAF Board for their visual quality and their meaning with regard to the overarching themes of the Summit.
