| Barry Moore MArch'65 adjunct associate professor at the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture, was awarded the Edward J. Rominiec Teaching Award by the Texas Society of Architects. One of only three U of H faculty to have received the award, he was thus honored for his twenty-year affiliation with the University, where he originated the curriculum in historic preservation; founded the summer Mexico Studio, in which students have been documenting UNESCO World Heritage Sites; and directs the Workshop for Historic Architecture. His students have won five Graduation Exhibition Design Awards, and three student research projects have been recognized for excellence by the Houston Chapter of the AIA.
