| Anish Kumar MArch'90 CRT'90 has joined Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates (TVS) in Atlanta as Managing Principal of the firm's world-wide planning and urban design practice. TVS is a firm of 300 with offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dubai, and Shanghai. The company was recognized as Firm of the Year by the American Institute of Architects in 2002. |

| Bridget O'Rourke MFA'95 has been appointed Academic Director of Parsons Paris, the French-based affiliate of Parsons the New School for Design. She currently has a painting on show in the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition in Dublin, and recently exhibited at Galleria Facsimile in Milan and the Lanitis Foundation in Nicosia, Cyprus (as part of the In Transition Exhibition). |

| Matthew Pisarski MS'99 is pleased to announce his induction into the Union League of Philadelphia. Founded in 1862 to support the policies of President Abraham Lincoln, the Union League is a private club of 3,000 men and women who represent a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. |

| John Doyle MS'84 CRT'84 reports that Doyle Real Estate Advisors recently formed PHASubsidy.com, a coalition of consultants who assist Public Housing Authorities (PHAs), to appeal their operating subsidy. This service is designed to enhance the quality of life for public housing residents by increasing funding for building improvements and non-shelter services such as community rooms, after-school enrichment programs, GED classes and health care screening. The new venture complements Doyle’s HUDRentStudy.com, which assists private providers of affordable housing. |

| Donna Schumacher C'80 MArch'82 recently completed a public art project for Almaden Community Center and Library through the San Jose Cultural Arts Commission. Teaching Stones was created in conjunction with a graduate seminar class through the sculpture department at the Academy of Art University to commemorate beloved community member and reading teacher, Doris Dillon. The work is a circular reading bench and a series of stones; each stone has words inspired by Doris which are separated into different parts of speech for young children to learn about language. |

| Lisa Dinhofer MFA'76 designed one of the largest art projects in New York's MTA system, a glass mosaic mural over 90 linear feet and encompassing 5 walls. Losing My Marbles can be viewed at the A/C/E subway stop at 8th Ave & 42nd St/Port Authority. The artist and her work are featured in the new book: Along the Way: MTA Arts for Transit, which provides a comprehensive tour of the site specific permanent art projects throughout the MTA's subway and commuter rail stations. |

| Eleanor Hubbard CW'74 MFA'71 opened her studio and home on Martha's Vineyard for a day this summer to benefit Affordable Housing. She and many others in the cultural community are lending a "creative" hand to help address the severe housing crisis on the island. |
