Students may pursue two degrees concurrently in Penn's dual degree program. They may also take advantage of the Department's special agreement with the Department of Systems Engineering of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences that facilitates graduate-level studies in transportation. The Department of City and Regional Planning offers the following combination of degrees:

M.C.P./J.D. program with the Law School M.C.P./M.S.W. program with the School of Social Work M.C.P./M.S. program with the Historic Preservation Program M.C.P./M.Arch. with the Department of Architecture All dual degree programs require independent admission from each department/program and completion of all required courses of each department. The student, however, can request double-counting of some elective courses, thus reducing the total time requirement for the two degrees.
