The American Planning Association has selected 61 of its members to receive the planning profession’s highest honor: induction into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Practitioners being inducted include several members of the PennDesign community, including former Dean and Paley Professor Gary Hack, as alumni J. Michael Cobb (M.Arch’69, PhD’76), Carol Collier (PhD’77), James Hester (MCP’76), and Larry Morrison (M.Arch’67, MCP’67).
Fellows of AICP are honored for achieving excellence in professional practice, teaching and mentoring, research, public and community service, and leadership. The Class of 2016 will be inducted into the AICP College of Fellows on April 3, during APA’s National Planning Conference in Phoenix.
