LOGAN GRIDER
2pm, Institute of Contemporary Art, 118 S. 36th Street, Philadelphia

Join us on the ICA mezzanine, where painter Logan Grider will lead a round table discussion focusing on a formal analysis of the painting Igitur from the exhibition currently on view at ICA, Charline von Heyl. The initial discussion will begin after a visit to view the painting in person and will branch out into other questions central to abstraction now.

DEAD FLOWERS
3pm, Institute of Contemporary Art, 118 S. 36th Street, Philadelphia 

Join Vox Populi and PARTICIPANT INC to celebrate the release of Dead Flowers, a book charting the history of "the underground" in cinema and art. Includes work by Paul Thek, Charles Atlas, Alvin Baltrop, and Kembra Pfahler, among others. Meet artists from the group exhibition and hear readings of texts from the catalog.

Today is the last day of classes! The end is in sight: Fall term ends December 21.

Hanukkah begins at Sunday, Dec 20.

Congratulations to Randy Mason, chair of the graduate program in historic preservation, who won an award from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage to explore marginal cultural landscapes.
