Re-envisioning the Viaduct: A Frankford Gateway Prototype

A student-led project, as part of PennDesign’s Social Impact Projects, will construct an interactive installation that takes inspiration from the not-yet-funded Frankford Gateway Plan, to reactivate the Lehigh Ave. underpass, and safely connect the community. The installation will coincide with a Community Day and Health Fair, sponsored by Somerset Neighbors for Better Living (SNBL) and the New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC).  The project is funded by PennDesign and PennPraxis.
