Mr. Bodek established Philadelphia Construction was established in 1977 when he single-handedly renovated his first row house. Since that time, Philadelphia Construction has developed a system of acquiring undervalued properties and creating value through renovation, management and sale.

Mr. Bodek Mr. Bodek has taught a graduate level course in real estate development at the University of Pennsylvania since 1986. He is active in the community serving on the boards of the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust and Congregation Rodeph Shaolom. Over the course of his career he has served on the boards of the Powelton Village Civic Association, the West Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the West Philadelphia Partnership.

Currently, he lives with his wife and two children in his renovated carriage house in Powelton Village.
