Neil Cook holds degrees in both Architecture and Landscape Architecture, and has widespread experience in architecture, landscape architecture, urban ecology, and infrastructural urbanism. Neil is a licensed Landscape Architect, and has worked for various offices in New York, California, New Jersey, and Colorado prior to joining Reiser + Umemoto in 2007, where he is currently a Project Manager. Neil received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University in 1999, and a Master of Architecture from UCLA, where he graduated with distinction in 2007. In 2006, his work was selected for 2x8: Vert at the Pacific Design Center in Hollywood, CA, and he was the 2007 UCLA recipient of the AIA Certificate of Merit. Prior to joining PennDesign, Neil has previously taught in the Department of Architecture and Urban Design at UCLA, and has assisted with courses at Princeton University, Columbia University, and the Harvard GSD.
