Work/Research

Will buildings sustain in the future? How would mankind fight with energy crisis and climate changes that are challenging our survival in the near future? Is there and will there be a way helping us out of this predicament?

The term "sustainability" has becoming much more attractive recently, not only because it involves environmental sympathy, but also attributes to its economic and social impacts. The research will address building energy efficiency issues, which contributes to both environmental and economic aspects. By offering guidelines in building design and building industry the research generates social impacts on sustainability concerns for building management and energy conservation. Building simulation programs and computer algorithms could be applied to conduct building performance analysis and energy efficiency assessment.
