David McHenry is a founding partner of Erdy McHenry Architecture, a Philadelphia architecture firm recognized nationally for its work and sought out for its collaborative approach to client relationships and architectural solutions.

McHenry teaches Professional Practice at Penn offering a uniquely informed approach to the practice of architecture as an active component of responsive design rather than simply a context in which design happens.

Whether as a conference panelist, guest lecturer or author, David McHenry is a vocal advocate for professional practice acumen as a vehicle to good design and sustainable architecture, environmentally, socially and economically. He has lectured at Princeton University Graduate School of Architecture and has lectured on the design process for professional associations including the Urban Land Institute and the AIA. His writings have been published in numerous professional journals.
