Shawn Rickenbacker

M.Arch. with Certificate in Urbanism, University of Virginia

Shawn is partner and creative director of Creative Front, a design agency based in New York specializing in architecture, interiors and product design. He will be an instuctor in Advanced Design Studios.

He as been featured in publications and exhibits for his works in the Harlem World Exhibit in 2004 at the Studio Museum in Harlem, for residential housing design, as well as artistic and exhibition gallery design.

A frequent lecturer at design schools across the nation and in several countries, Rickenbacker has lectured and made presentations at Washington University, the University of Virginia, Prairie View State University, University of Illinois–Champagne/Urbana as well as Barcelona, Helsinki and Havana. He was assistant professor of architecture and design at Ohio State University and University of Virginia and has been an invited juror at Yale, Pennsylvania, Cornell, Rice, Georgia Tech and University of Michigan.
