Lucinda R. Sanders is an adjunct professor of landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and CEO of OLIN. Her most recent projects include the Central Delaware Riverfront Master Plan in Philadelphia and HemisFair Park Master Plan in San Antonio, Texas. She co-authored the book OLIN: Placemaking, published by Monacelli Press, which features a selection of the OLIN studio's most celebrated landscape architecture, urban design and planning projects. The book includes a transcribed conversation, centered around the future of the landscape architecture profession, between Sanders and Charles Waldheim, Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and a leading proponent of landscape urbanism. In 2008, OLIN received the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for Landscape Design. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and has been recently elected President of the Landscape Architecture Foundation.
