Biography

M.Arch, Columbia University

Philipp von Dalwig, received a degree in Architecture from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany and graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning where he received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design degree with the Lowenfish Memorial Prize in 2001. He is the co-founder and principal of Manifold Architecture Studio, recognized with the AIA New Practice New York award in 2010 and Co- Chair of AIANY New Practices Committee.

Philipp has worked both in Europe and the US, for Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Baumschlager & Eberle and Arnell Group and is a licensed architect in Germany since 2005 and LEED certified since 2009. Philipp taught at Parsons the New School for Design and is a regular juror at Pratt Institute School of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania School of Design and Columbia University.
