Fon Wang is principal and second generation owner of UCI Architects, Inc. providing architecture, planning and historic preservation services to public and private clients for over 25 years. The firm, located in the Rittenhouse square neighborhood of Philadelphia, specializes in transportation, education, institutional and historic preservation projects.
Significant projects include five ground-up stations along the Market Street Elevated Train, the renovation of Wayne Junction Station, and a new home and exhibit for the hippos at the Philadelphia Zoo. She recently completed the Renovation of Humphrey Hall, the first building on the campus of Cheyney University of Philadelphia. The project received a grand jury award from the Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia.
Fon holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was the inaugural recipient of the David De Long Fellowship.
Fon was recently honored by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the 40 under 40 local proven performers in their industries and communities. Her Professional affiliations include: Community Action Charitable Events Co-Chair for CREW Philadelphia, Buildings and Facilities committee at the Fleisher Art Memorial, and the Bella Vista Zoning Commission.
