Joan Weston

Biography

Joan Weston is the PennDesign Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. She oversees the admissions process in the School of Design, from recruiting the best and the brightest to welcoming new students in the fall. She also handles financial aid, posting scholarships toward tuition, and counseling students. Joan has been at the School of Design since 1984, back when we were the Graduate School of Fine Arts. She received her BA in Fine Arts from UC Santa Cruz, her MFA from the School of Design, and still paints whenever she can.
