Dr. Yun Kyu Yi teaches environmental and sustainable technology and computational building simulation. He associate with the TC Chan center for Building Simulation and Energy Studies at Penn and lectured in Penn and Korean universities. His research includes performance-driven design processes, integration of simulation domains and decision making. At the Chan Center, his most recent project is developing measurements for different sustainable building criteria by performance based rather than prescriptive measures. He recently published "Optimizing building form for energy performance based on hierarchical geometry relation," in the Journal of Automation in Construction and "Site-Specific Prediction for Energy Simulation by Integrating Computational Fluid Dynamics," in an International Journal of Building Simulation.
