Mission statement
The mission of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Over three days in March, volunteers and skilled contractors repair and clean homes in West Philly to make them warm, safe, dry and energy efficient. The partnership between students from Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design's facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration and community outreach, while providing hands-on skills and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of UPenn's West Philly neighbors.
