Student Advocacy

SPA's main function is to provide a clear channel of communication for students to the administration. We achieve this in multiple ways. Formally, we attend monthly faculty meetings for PennPlanning and host town-hall events each semester. These town-halls help student vocalize questions and concerns about facilities, academics, logistics, etc. Minutes from these meetings will be made publicly available. 

As for informal advocacy, the PennPlanning office hosts an anonymous comments/concerns box, and every SPA representative is available to hear student feedback one-on-one. Additionally, the faculty rely on our input regarding department activities and changes.
