Allison Olsen serves as the Digital Archivist, building the digital infrastructure and online presence for the Architectural Archives collections. She also works alongside the Archivist and Curator on exhibitions, reference and public services, collections management, and rights and reproductions.
Before joining the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, Allison worked at Penn in the Office of the University Architect and as a Visual Resources Librarian at the University of New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in History and an MA in Historic Preservation, and worked at the Center for Historic Architecture and Design documenting the Mid-Atlantic built environment and preserving archival collections. Allison also holds an MSC in Library and Information Management from the University of the West of England. During her stay in the UK, Allison worked in the library and archives of the 11th-century Hereford Cathedral.
