Alumna Lori Kanter Tritsch (MArch’85)'s Los Angeles home is featured in the Spring 2020 issue of Galerie Magazine.
To realize her vision, Kanter Tritsch collaborated with Kovac Design Studio to achieve a modern California home that still has "heart and soul."
“Lori brought invaluable insight, not just about the property and about what she and William were looking for, but with her training we could exchange ideas in schematic phase, where most clients might require a 3-D rendering,” says Michael Kovac.
In 2017, Kanter Tritsch pledged $1.25 million to establish a $50,000 fellowship for the most promising graduate architecture student at the Weitzman School and an international medal of excellence for a practicing architect. The gift was pledged on behalf of herself and her partner William Lauder (W’83), a Wharton alumnus and Penn Trustee.
The Kanter Tritsch Medal for Excellence in Architecture and Environmental Design has recognized noteworthy architects like KPF cofounder A. Eugene Kohn and Tod Williams and Billie Tsien.
