DumoLab Research (DLR) led by Laia Mogas-Soldevila at the Weitzman School has partnered with Meantime, a project of Weitzman faculty member Brian Phillips and UCitySq, to activate storefronts in West Philadelphia and showcase cutting-edge sustainable architecture from biomaterials.
On display DumoLab's newest bio-composite research on hyperlocal material cycles forming 3m-domes, chemically-interactive earthen tiles and panels, food-waste-based shingles, and furniture from juicing pulp. "RAMUSUMAR" by Eugene Lew composed from scores of wet and dry hardware throughout Ramus Dome manufacturing process.
