Crowd control tool used by Chinese police systems, readymade chandelier
All I want to say is in the poem by Shelley, Mighty Eagle.
Mighty eagle! thou that soarest

And amid the light of morning

And when night descends defiest
The embattled tempests' warning!
Nathan Li, born 1995 in China. His works focus on the conflict between China’s contemporary development and individual’s identity. Through reproducing contemporary Chinese landscapes, he discusses how history and politics affect the diversity generated within a single cultural system, as well as the problems and crises that arise when absorbing Western culture. As an Asian gay artist, he also pays attention to the status quo of the LGBTQ body in East Asia under the extensive influence of Confucius culture.
