Fabrication, making things happen, material ecologies, and architectural tectonics have been what drove all my projects at Penn. Here, I get to operate on the cutting edge of design and fabrication with the robotics lab and collaborations with external organizations and companies, allowing me to contribute to the school through teaching assistant positions and full scale mock-ups at a level I may not be able to while fresh in the profession.

Having worked for two years, I have seen what architects can do once they fully embrace multidisciplinary collaboration and accept the fact that the discipline is not straight-forward, and must allow room for experimentation, risk taking, and test-making while respecting the limits of earth's resources. Here at the design school, I can do all of these things as far as my coffee allows.
