Kanter Tritsch Prize in Energy and Architectural Innovation

Alexandra is a first-generation college student from Nazareth, Pennsylvania. She completed her BA in Architecture at Lehigh University in 2016. “I’ve always been enamored by architecture’s capacity to improve our way of living,” Adamski says. “The Kanter Tritsch Prize is a life-changing honor that will open so many doors to me as an architect and relieve a huge financial burden. I couldn’t be more grateful for this generous gift.”

In addition to the Kanter Tritsch Prize, Adamski was awarded the First Prize 2018 E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship, and was a third-place finalist at the 2017 HOK Futures Design Challenge. She graduated with a Master of Architecture Degree from the Weitzman School in May of 2019.

Adamski was selected by a jury that included Catherine Broth, partner, MGA Partners, Winka Dubbeldam, Miller Professor and chair of Weitzman Architecture, Lori Kanter Tritsch, Weitzman alumna and overseer, Carrie Norman, partner, Norman Kelly, LLC, Ali Rahim, professor of architecture, director of the Weitzman MSD-AAD Program, and Weitzman Dean and Paley Professor Frederick Steiner.
