Faye Messner

Faye Messner is graduating with a Master of Science in Historic Preservation concentrating in Preservation Planning. Faye's interests lie at the intersections of historic preservation planning and policy, economic revitalization, smart growth, and real estate. Her thesis explores these topics, studying policy tools for implementing transit-oriented development and historic preservation to highlight successful approaches to TOD that incorporate preservation in addition to preservation tools that bridge the perceived gaps between these planning initiatives. Faye is from Sacramento, California, enjoys cooking, and going for walks, and has loved exploring great places for food and drink in Philadelphia.
