Harsana Siva

Harsana Siva is an aspiring architect and Designer from Bangalore, India. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Environmental Design from SUNY University at Buffalo, from which she graduated Cum Laude. Harsana has always found comfort in expressing her designs through forms, figures, and colors. Her explorations depict a continuously evolving strategy to develop and challenge the social norms of design. Using technology as the future of design, she pushes design to its extreme capacities through formal, material, and spatial expressions.

During her academic pursuits, Harsana had the opportunity to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various studios and a Research Assistant for the DEI at Penn, where she helped establish the first UPenn NOMA chapter. Harsana's work has been featured in publications and exhibits by the University at Buffalo and the University of Pennsylvania. She has been recognized for her work through numerous awards, including the 2021 Schenk Woodman Fellowship, the 2022 E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship, the 2022 Atkin Fellowship, and the 2023 Weitzman School of Design Kanter Tritsch Honorable Mention Award.
