Natalie Perri

Natalie Perri is a driven, aspiring architect who will be graduating with a Master's degree from the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. With a passion for sustainable design, Natalie has centered her thesis on developing floating cities that can withstand rising sea levels. The thesis aims to mitigate many climate-related issues such as mass-displacement for independent island nations by proposing innovative and practical solutions.

Natalie was exposed to the world of architecture at a young age, as her father worked as a HVAC contractor. Growing up in Norristown, she observed how her father's work influenced the design and functionality of buildings, which sparked her curiosity with architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University. In addition, she founded a YouTube channel called Unraveling Architecture, where she helps fellow architecture students navigate the rigorous demands of the major.

During her time at UPenn, Natalie worked with LiDAR scanning tech startup. Through this experience, she learned about how new technologies can be integrated into the architectural design process to push the industry further. Starting this summer, Natalie will begin her career as an design professional at EwingCole, in Philadelphia.
