Sophie Zionts

Sophie Zionts is graduating with an MSc. in Historic Preservation. She is a scholar of the built environment with an undergraduate degree in architecture, compelled by urban revitalization without community displacement. Growing up in Buffalo, NY instilled a desire to reuse and revalue old materials and structures. In her thesis, she explores the implications and the efficacy of preservation as a public good within the political sphere it must operate.
