Xiang Li

Xiang Li is a third-year student at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is pursuing a degree in architecture (M.Arch.). He is the recipient of the Albert F. Schenck-Henry Gillette Woodman Scholarship Prize. Throughout his architectural studies, in addition to taking design studio courses in architecture, Xiang has taken electives on sustainable energy and impact, ecosystems and design, and ecological architecture. At the end of the school year, he going to receive certification in ecological architecture. His interest in architecture stems from his goal of working toward creating a harmonious coexistence between the earth and human life. During the summer, Sean worked as an intern for different large architectural firms in China focusing on urban planning, museums, and cultural centers. After completing his studies, he intends to pass the LEED GA exam and work towards becoming an architect.
