Alexa Rojas
Alexa Rojas is an aspiring architect and designer born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Currently in her third year as a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, Alexa is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation. She holds a Bachelors of Design in Architecture with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Alexa has honed her design skills at firms including Gradient Architecture, Gensler, and Doo Architecture, where she contributed to a variety of projects spanning different scales and contexts. As the current Co-President of the Weitzman School of Design Student Council, she actively advocates for her peers and fosters a supportive and collaborative environment. She has also served as a graduate teaching assistant for the second-year core studio sequence at Penn, sharing her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of architects.
With a keen interest in vernacular architecture and a passion for furniture and product design, Alexa brings a unique perspective to her work. Her architectural endeavors have been recognized and showcased in esteemed publications and exhibitions, including Pressing Matters, Weitzman Architecture, Architrave, iNTA Urban Tropicality Conference, and the University of Florida. Additionally, Alexa has been the recipient for Weitzman School of Design Merit Scholarship and the Dales E. Lewis Travel Fellowship.
