Chenxi Zhu

Born and raised in the bustling metropolis of Beijing renowned for its rich history and rapid transformations, Chenxi developed a deep-rooted interest in culture, people, and urban issues from a young age. Trained as a data scientist, Chenxi came to Penn to explore more inclusive and data-informed approaches to urban planning. During her time at Penn, she has significantly advanced her understanding of city problems, focusing on technically grounded solutions that leverage technologies in urban contexts. Her academic and professional projects reflect a commitment to enhancing urban environments through innovative planning and sustainable practices.
