Kina Voelz
Kina is an experienced architect with a demonstrated history of working in the design and construction fields, Kina has always been drawn to the built world as well as both the subtle and spectacular qualities of landscape and environment. Sensitivity to space and natural beauty is the foundation for her design approach; one that is also deeply informed by community involvement, inherent qualities of a place, as well as internationalism.
In her next phase she intends to apply skills gained during her time at UPenn, oriented toward landscape architecture and urban design in areas experiencing water scarcity challenges and the dynamic nature of climate change.
Informing all aspects of Kina’s diverse, creative practice is the seamless integration of the built and natural environments. In this interweaving, she works to form a world that delights and inspires us, promotes physical and emotional health and safety, and contributes toward countering the forces changing our planet.
